As figure III illustrates, I have completely edited
the icon's background
to a dark gray. Of course this isn't the nicest or most
exciting effect for this icon but it provides you a simple
starting point
for editing your own Windows desktop icons. If you wanted
to brighten things up a bit you could add a border to
the
area surrounding
the lock and key, erase the key and add something else,
etc. I recommend playing around with all the tools on
the
left-side
of
Studio's
interface to get a feel for all the features.
8. Saving the icon: Click on "File" from the
top menu and "Save As". The Save As window
will open. From the drop-down menu choose "Icon
Resource" and name your icon
something new. See figure IV Below. To learn more about
